My Three Things: War, Fortunate Son, March 28
Thursday morning little major Hegseth addressed the good, decent, patriotic American people. Being one of those good, patriotic people, I was outraged at his lies and braggadocio.
While little major Hegseth shouted at us good patriots, he said that the “world, the Middle East, our ungrateful allies in Europe, even segments of our own press should be saying one thing to President Trump. Thank you.” First, I must correct the little major. Our NATO allies have zero need to be grateful. They are proven equal allies giving as much, or more than they got, not subservient client states.
Are felon trump’s deranged and unjustified military attacks around the world simply rage at being rightly refused a peace prize, or is it a desire to place the United States among the worst murderous regimes: Russia and Israel? Is Cadet Bone Spurs just wanting criminal tough guys to admire him? Who knows?
Thanks to Vote Vets, I was in a room with six senators leading the attack to hold felon trump and Congress to account for our disgraceful attack on a foreign enemy while participating in what were described as fruitful negotiations. Was our felon afraid of success? Senators Murphy, Schiff, Booker, Duckworth, Baldwin, and Kaine lead a fight to force accountability.
The MAGA US Senate leadership shirks responsibility. These MAGA cowards hide behind closed doors and classified hearings. They refuse to hold public hearings or to hold this illegitimate regime, led by a convicted criminal, accountable. MAGA members of both houses of Congress know this felon and his minions are unfit to be brought before Congress for public hearings. They are too weak.
Meanwhile, our military bleeds, and fortunate sons and daughters get wealthier while YOUR gas prices soar.
