My Three Things: No Kings, A Felon’s Bad week, Massive protests
No Kings leadership showed the resistance how it is done. Wednesday, I was in D.C. and could see miles of chicken fencing being erected around the White House and National Mall. I imagine Bunker Boy’s hideaway was also well-stocked with his hamberders. Later in the week, No Kings announced that it was canceling its protests in the National Mall and Capitol area. Attendance at numerous local protests was strongly urged.
No King’s rationale was to deny attention and crowds to felon trump’s parade. And, considering Cadet Bone Spurs’ threats, to deny confrontation with the felon’s security forces. The change was a brilliant move worthy of any revolutionary movement. The number of local protests soared. All fifty states were involved in the scheduled 2,000-plus protests. We, the people, appeared in numbers too big to ignore. Combined with a white male’s terrorist attack on Democratic legislators in Minnesota, No Kings obscured coverage of Cadet Bone Spur’s military parade in honor of his 79th birthday. The old felon’s sparsely attended, soggy show of less than pleased troops, accompanied by miserable showmanship and drenching humidity, was an abject failure.
A notorious coward and bully, felon trump sought to cloak himself with our military’s strength. Yet, the poor little would-be dictator was defied by Netanyahu and embarrassed by Putin, who kicked sand in Cadet Bone Spurs’ face by offering to mediate a deal between Iran and Israel. While the 79-year-old man dreamed of a Nobel Peace Prize for forcing peace agreements, the decaying felon reaped global scorn.
No Kings showed the classic revolutionary tactic of stealing attention by changing points of confrontation, never going against an enemy’s strength, and striking where least expected. Score: Good Guys one, Domestic Enemies nil.
See you in the streets again soon.
