My Three Things: 1930s Europe, MAGA, Evil
“Please do not call us fascists and Nazis over political disagreements“ is an increasing refrain heard from fascist MAGA who have not yet fled from trump. Felon trump and his MAGA mob are rightly bleeding support, and the remaining MAGA are calling for grace and tolerance. They declare MAGA is not fascist or evil, and we should realize that we are friends and neighbors just disagreeing, neither side is “evil.” Well, I must disagree.
I had the good fortune to live in Germany among WWII German civilian and military survivors. Their stories and pictures painted a vivid road to the evil that began to grow in 1930s Germany. Felon trump and his MAGA mob mirror those German tales of that sick political party. The similarities are too many to ignore. From a failed coup attempt to selectively persecuting minorities and gays, to erecting large concentration camps and targeting violence against their opponents, the Germans’ wealthiest oligarchs supported the fascist movement for profit. They were not all evil, not all at once, but with total government control, evil consumed them. Possessing a stagnating economy and worshipping “strength and violence.” war was their easy answer. A false god and religion, their easy choice.
Today, I see little difference in MAGA. Aided and abetted by corrupt and compromised Justices and a subservient MAGA Congress that provides close to total consent to our felon’s grab for dictatorial power. Felon trump and his MAGA enablers are evil rising from the muck and hate of the worst that is the United States.
Welcome MAGA defectors, for it takes great strength to break free of hateful cults. But never stop calling out felon trump and MAGA as fascists and neo-Nazis. This evil will not leave quietly.
